SANTA
Tonight, on the way to my Mom’s house, I drove by Santa on I-35. Yes, Santa - or at least that is what his license plate said!! Seriously! He was driving a white Dodge pickup with a bunch of big RED plastic trash bags in the bed! And yes, the guy did look like Mr. Claus! He was a white guy in his early 60’s with a real white beard, wearing a cream colored Irish fishing sweater and the traditional red hat with fur trim!! The tag was a Kansas tag … suspicious! I didn’t notice what county it was from … Oh how I wished I had had the trusty camera b my side as NO ONE would believe I really saw this tonight!!
YES - I saw Santa tonight, on Christmas Eve!
TIRED!
Ah yes … it is Dec 18th and I just giving finals. I am tired. I need to sleep.
I do however, work with a terrific bunch of people and I really really love what I do to earn some money to live on, but I am tired. I need sleep.

President Obama picks a Nobel Prize winning SCIENTIST to be the Secretary of Energy! A President that believes in SCIENCE!!! I couldn’t be more excited!!! REAL science behind decisions!!! Thank the lord (or Lord … as you may believe) above!!

It snowed so wonderfully today! It has been crazy cold and we had all hoped for a snow day but alas, the snow didn’t start early enough and the weather was such that is just SNOWED - no Kansas City ice … therefore, sadly but rightly, we headed off to school!
When I got in the car it was really snowing hard but the snow flakes were needle like, not six sided at all! It must have been so incredibly cold above to get snow like that! The roads were comfortably heavy driving to work - just the way I wished all the frozen precip in the winter would be … but I live in Kansas City - the ICE capital so I fear the morning of Dec. 18th may not be as charming!
When I got home from work this snow was the easiest snow ever to shovel … .ok, it’s cold - but it ain’t ICE KC!

Since I’ve been at work a crazy amount lately and I’m prohibited from getting on tumblr from my work server, I often forget the random crap I think and see during the day and don’t want to even think about the world outside of my home when I finally get there at 9 or so pm. So … . apology accepted?
